I wanna say congratulations to one of my closest homies for making such an incredibly funny video. Honestly, this is a home run and I think they nailed it. From the denouncing of Arcade Fire, Instagraming, shade grown beans to Pabst Blue Ribbono, this video me want to be a hipster but of course then I’d want to take it to the highest level possible, HipStar. Only 60 days until the release of my first book. I wish for anything you had a copy of the book in your hands right now.

Here’s my first interview from a writer of a major media outlet.

Whats the title?

I can’t release the full title because it would give too much away, come late February I will release the full name.

What’s the summary?
You can make a difference

Is this fiction or nonfiction or self-help?
The fans who asked if it’s self-help are obviously fans of my ‘Moti Rock’ band Company Picnic (Moti means motivational). However, I can not say that (self-help) defines the premise of the book.

Why are you being so vague?
I have to be extremely vague because the content is so unique and valuable a fellow author could steal my idea.

Is it going to be funny?
Yes, but its also got action, danger and so I can have a huge following of ladies, romance is also a major plot in the book. Shoot, I just gave away too much. Interview over.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and even more so a dandy New Year. This past year was rad but I can only say that next year will be far more incredible. I am announcing via twitter on January 1st about the release date for my first self written/illustrated and published book.
Plus, why did I draw pictures everyday till Dec 23rd? Well, its purely so you can get your hands on them. I’m offering each picture for sell come January 2012.
Are the art days over for me, you might be asking..? No, this next year will be more intense than ever. I am about finished with the first episode of an animated series I’ve been working on with my homie Chad Hively. This will be on air in no time…. I pray. I am releasing an illustrated book in early 2012. Then as I mentioned above all my art will finally be available to purchase for the first time in the U.S. Shirts, posters, cards, and soon the most sought after graphic novel in history, my first book.

Western Kick had a huge first year in the podcast world. We had some incredible guest throughout the 2011 season. I must say our first guest of 2012 is a great addition to our impressive growing roster of talent.. We will announce who it is on January 1st as well.
Besides the amazingly great Western Kick show, Western Kick will be playing shows anywhere and everywhere this year. Prepare for the 2012 invasion of 2012.

I plan on expanding my world of hosting and emceeing. I didn’t do much of that in 2011, only one wedding and few other small events, so I’ll be back to doing this far more often this next year.

How To Remove A Coffee Stain Off Table

I set a coffee mug on my table and it left a stain. I decided since I had no cleaners within reach I’d completely hide the stain by drawing a flexible fat kid. And it worked. Seriously I can’t see the coffee stain now. Here’s my 3 easy steps on removing coffee stains off your table:

1) Find a number 2 pencil
2) Draw a face first to determine what you’re drawing.
3) Sketch out the entire frame (body) of your creature or person. Now look at the drawing to see no more stain.

It’s crazy!! Easy as one, two, three:)

Maybe I should start a cleaning business.

I’m happy to say that our very first female guest to the Western Kick show was the lovely and talented Dominique Calvillo of Calvillo. Dominique and I go way back to me seeing her at a mall. It was a big moment in my career as an interviewer. I tried to get an autograph but her security used pepper spray on me. I knew from that moment on that one she would be on my podcast show. Hopefully I don’t have to take pepper spray to the face and ears in order to get the full Calvillo lineup, Angelique and Emma to visit the show as well. Needless to say, having Dominique on the show was awesome. She knew loads about music history, recording and could laugh at the brilliant comedic timing from the shows super handsome host, Chad McKinsey and I. Warning, don’t challenge her rock and roll history or you’ll lose.

If you love electronic music, dub step, dance, house, basically anything featuring an extremely talented writer and producer, then this is your favorite episode of the Western Kick show… so far. This week’s insanely awesome guest is Gunslunglow or as the ladies call him, Spencer Blair. This was actually my first time meeting the underground kingpin who once lived on a mountain training local humans how to live. We recorded at his studio, The Twog, in the beautiful downtown of Culver City, California. I advise you to listen to his wisdom on the ever changing recording industry. He has been involved for many years working on soundtracks to producing the rising star Lady Nogrady. I enjoyed this episode so much I went back to the Twog a few weeks later, watched Formula 1 highlights and ate his world renown cheese dip. Awesome times ahead for this intriguing talent. Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie

I’m looking forward to this ridiculous movie by the creators of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job and Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule starring John C Reilly. I know this has nothing to do with my art, music, or my porcelain collection of small cats but it does make me laugh so I figured I’d post this due to my excitement for this film. This movie is set for release on March 2nd 2012. If you have never seen the show watch this video featuring comedian Zach Galifianakis as Tairy Greene the Little Dancing Man for a sample of the specialness that is from the ridiculous minds of Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.

This episode is a great listen if you need to be confused because our guest was Chad and of course the other elegant host of the Western Kick show is Chad. The Chad’s have been friends for quite sometime. They have spent many years recording and touring. Gerber explains how he got his start in the music world and what he’s currently working on outside of the Suicide Denial, like his bluegrass recordings. Enjoy this episode as much as I did.
