I’m Going To Die A Picker

As not many humans on earth know, I just started working at Guitar Center. It has already turned me into a huge, huge, guitar nerd. Such as, last night I spent about 4 hours studying up on the craft. Chet Atkins has won me over, in fact, I am going to die a picker. After letting folks know about the Lord, I too want to inspire picking to come back. Its beautiful.

Figuring Out The Next Phase Of My Life

I’ve written my goals out. In fact here is a picture to prove it.

However, after receiving some incredible insight last Sunday night, I wonder if there is another direction I’m suppose to go? With my first book nearing completion, how can it be a useful tool to inspire, move, educate, and/or make some of you humans laugh [sounds like a lame Michael Scott quote].
This is why I’m constantly returning to fine tune my goals. I don’t believe for one second any life on earth is a mistake. God needs us all. So, cheer up depressed people, be kind to widows, help the homeless and if you meet me buy me a pineapple pizza.
Speaking of helping me fine tune my goals. I had an awesome opportunity this morning to roll down to BIOLA and listen to Matthew Sleeth and his daughter Emma Sleeth. I think these folks are onto something incredible.
Why hasn’t the green movement caught on in the states yet? Well, the captain (ManBearPig Hunter) of the movement still waste more than most humans will ever have a chance too. [...I would love to surpass him but I have conviction, so I guess I'll continue to turn lights off...] We shouldn’t pay attention to the non-doers… I think Phil Collins wrote about that in the song ‘Jesus, He Knows Me.’ The Green Giant is here and I know America will finally pull up their pants because there’s an honest leader who walks the walk.
Make sure to check out some of the books from both Sleeth father and Sleeth daughter. Awesome, awesome, humans. I, like you, was not interested in hearing them until she said she was a Weird Al fan. I had no choice but to listen.
I wrote out this long post to say this one thing. Continue to educate yourself and to remind you that I like pineapple pizza. THANKS!!

Best Way To Delete W3 Total Cache

I wanted to get smooth and try fancy smanchy cache plugins. I tried to use the W3 Total Cache plugin. I opted today to delete the darn thing because I found out why one of my sites did not show any updates since April 17th. Turns out the Cache plugin is crazy and screwed up.
If you have been busting your head wondering why your RSS Feeds, updates, and theme changes aren’t working then look into your plugins for any cache programs.
I read most of the time you can reinstall them, if you still have issues then just stop slamming your face into the wall and press delete.
Here is the best way to delete your cache plugin: I received some of the information from this helpful forum post at wordpress.org
In WordPress: Plugins > Installed > Delete the plugin w3-total-cacheUse An FTP Program For Rest
- Open wp-config.php (Need A Program That Reads PHP) Remove the following line in wp-config.php` file: define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);
- FTP > WP-Content > delete the following: advanced-cache.php, db.php, w3tc/ (delete entire folder) and w3-total-cache-config.php
Don’t freak out if you are deleting your plugin and it causes your backend to go down. Simply delete dp.php. That will get the back-end working beautifully again.

Privacy Changes On Facebook Get Scary

From South Park to Gizmodo.com, Facebook is getting its share of charges concerning its Privacy changes and the fact people are too dang obsessive over the goofy site.
Gizmodo wrote out their predictions in which direction Facebook will take the privacy of their users over the next decade.
2007 – Facebook Beacon links your purchases at online stores to your Facebook account so your friends (and marketers) can see what you’re buying.
2010 – Facebook makes it impossible for you to hide certain information, such as your interests and location, from everybody.
While South Park leads the charge of wisdom that people are allowing Facebook ‘time’ to control too much of their life. I love how the always ridiculous Randy Marsh is completely confused over his son not adding him as a friend or his grandmother.
People, if you get depressed on Facebook, Twitter, or any other site because you don’t have friends on there.. Please do yourself a favor and walk outside to meet people. Real life friends are way more rad. This is truly a beautiful episode that nails our hilarious culture.
As for Gizmodo I sadly believe they might be right on a few of their predictions.
2014 – Facebook Implant combines a chemical scanner with a GPS chip. Everything you eat and everywhere you go are automatically posted to your News Feed in minute detail. This setting can be deactivated through outpatient surgery.

Monty Are I - Break Through The Silence
Monty Are I, the greatest Rhode Island band that this little planet (that I call 3) has ever heard has just announced that their amazing bass player, Mike Matarese is going to retire after playing his final show April 17th at the Colosseum in Providence.
“Saturday, April 17th will be my last home show with the band. I have had some amazing experiences and great times for ten years playing with these guys. This has been a tough decision to make because for years, all I have known is the band. It’s been a long road and I have had to make a lot of sacrifices along the way, and now I feel as though I need to take my life in a different direction. I would like to thank the band for all the great times, all the fans that supported us, and most importantly all my loved ones for helping me pursue my dreams.” [youtube.com/montyarei]
I am well pleased with how the career has turned out for these fellas. I am bummed I am not able to attend the farewell show for MIke. However, I will recall the days of touring and wanting desperately to be their merch guy. But Noooooooo, they already had a ‘way more cool and hip merch guy,’ so they refused. In fact they cussed me out when I asked. Now that’s all in the past (in fact the whole merch thing didn’t happen) and I really do want to wish the boys the best and especially Mike with his new endeavors.
Mike, I can only congratulate you on all your successes and the incredible journey you’ve had so far. God bless you.

Blockbuster Rental Return Box
The above picture has nothing to do with the article about getting free rentals from BlockBuster. However, it is intriguing to realize that the infamous return box is now a thing of the past. Pretty much all the big rental stores, Hollywood Video, Family Video, and BlockBuster are now long gone (well the store versions). Netflix and the video rental kiosk market has wiped the big rental stores out. Its good to see BB gotten wise and is fighting back with online/mail out rental and the ever lovely kiosk. Hmmm, I wonder who created the RedBox idea? (let me do a quick search, so hold on 2 seconds. . . . ok) According to my really detailed and quick search on wiki, the kiosk creator was McDonalds, however Coinstar bought out RedBox a couple years ago.

I wish Justin Timberlake had not of played his character so well, he made me feel bad the guy got arrested. Obviously its well deserved he is behind bars for life. 20 years old and spending the rest of his life in jail. Wow! Listen kids, ‘RUN!,’ from that kind of life. Its not worth it. RUN from the moron gangs, lowlifes, and devils. Not worth it. Read the word and get plugged into an awesome church.

I’m proud of my little homies. Not only do they have a strong new record but they made it to the top of the billboards with their latest picture! This is another fine record from the St Louis musical band group Story of the Year. If they keep putting more awesome albums out I may just come and work for them again. I miss these cats.
